Submerge
I focus on the issue of marine plastic pollution. I collected the plastic waste generated by me in a week. I then submerged myself into these plastic waste in my bathtub, where I usually enjoy my time in, just as how fish usually enjoy the ocean. From the project, I gained awareness of how much plastic waste one person can generate within a week. It not only makes me restrain myself from generating plastic waste in the future but also makes me seriously think about how much plastic waste can be generated by all the human beings on earth. I want to contribute to help to reduce the issue instead of only mitigating it. So for the next step, I plan to collect the actual plastic waste from the ocean and conduct projects from them.
