This is one of my most ambitious models. The Cabinet Room circa 1863. After years of research as part of The Virtual Lincoln Project at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, we gathered enough information to accurately recreate the space in 3D. I modeled all of the room and most of the furnishings (other members of the team provided details like the curtains, papers, books, table lamps, sculpting for the fireplace, candlesticks, maps, teacups, etc.) and I provided the textures for everything I modeled. I also provided lighting and rendering for this scene. These particular renders took a lot of computing power and even more time, so I did cheat a bit and left in a bit of noise and faked the depth of field in Photoshop. Will update this later on with less noisy renders!
