I was roaming around, in the streets of bangalore, I saw women are coming to worship in early morning as the time is peaceful and best to worship.
The lady in a pink sari, came and performed all the rituals and offerings towards God. 
"Banyan" generally means the Indian banyan or Ficus benghalensis. It is the National tree of  India and worshiped.
The Banyan tree also has several medicinal properties. Its leaf, bark, seeds and fig are used for the variety of disorders like diarrhea, polyuria, dental, diabetes and urine disorders. The wood of the Banyan tree is used in making door panels, boxes and the other items.
Cotton Threads of various colors like red, yellow and white are tied around the tree. Women go round the Banyan tree for 108 times. The cotton thread represents the fragile nature of life, love, trust and faith that build a relationship.
Bark of banyan tree, painted with Indian values, the geru (red-ochre) tells that there's always a sunrise awaiting. Geru also denotes maturity, understanding and purification of  thoughts. While Kumkum calmss our mind. Chuna (limestone) prevents disease-carrying insects from entering a wounded tree and also increases oxygen percentage.
