Participating in The Sketchbook Project was an opportunity to return to some favorite materials: coloured pencils, watercolour and gouache. I created a series of visual mashups, Catscapes, inspired by my photos of Tulum and beloved cats, Elfreth and Pemberton. https://sketchbookproject.com/library/19924 I digitally manipulated the Catscape sketches in Photoshop and Illustrator, turned them into Catcubes, and displayed them in a 3D installation.
