The Makita Eazymixer

The Makita EazyMixer was created from a project, where the brand DNA of the power tool company, Makita was translated into a stick mixer from kitchen appliance brand, Breville.

This project required research and analysis into how the design cues, colour scheme and features of both Makita and Breville could meld into a cohesive form.

This project needed a rigorous understanding of the materials, ergonomics and working internals to create a justifiable form.
Sketching Process

I began this process by sketching a number of potential forms and colour schemes.
Modelling Stickmixer

The final form was created using the CAD software, Solidworks. Above is a detailed exploded view of the CAD model and the details of the Stick Mixer's construction.
Rendering and Process of Use

The final form was rendered using Keyshot.

Above shows the process of use of the Stick Mixer and its attachments.
