Early in my career I started experimenting with large format Polaroid cameras and film. My love of silks and experimentation with manipulation in the Polaroid image and emulsion transfer process brought national recognition for my pioneering work in this medium. I was one of the first photographers to use large format Polaroid image and emulsion transfers in my work. I have received numerous awards and a permanent place in the Polaroid archives for my interpretation of select couture designs of Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Roberto Sanchez and Adolfo for the Hispanic Couture Designers Gala runway show.
