Sometimes, all it takes is the desire to get outside, take a few steps, and then look around at what's really there in front of us to capture something good. While none of these photographs were taken with a macro lens, they were taken with a lens that was last made just over a decade ago. It still amazes me that we can just focus on the newest gear when the older stuff is just as good. The morale of the story: don't count out the old and don't miss out on the little things like these 'burnt' red & yellow flowers, no matter how small they might be.
