Sticker Designs
Theme
The theme I wanted to go for in these three designs was to communicate the idea that you can do anything no matter who you are. I did this by showing a worm who is fearless of the its predator, the bird. Next, a penguin flying when we all know they can't fly. Finally, showing something as simple as a mushroom looking like something huge like an explosion.
Sketches
In my sketching process, I came up with a variation of ideas that I couldn't really decide on. After looking them over I saw that the penguin and the worm that I sketched had a theme of fearlessness that I liked. I decided to expand a little more on the penguin and the worm. I drew them out at a larger scale to see if I would like them or not.
Draft
In my first draft in putting them in the computer, there were clearly a lot of problems that I wasn't satisfied with. For me I always struggle during the beginning digital draft process. It is harder for me to really put down on the computer what I want. Eventually I decided to redo the worm and I am happy that I did.
Final
In the end I fixed the worm to where it is now. I decided to add some shadows for the designs. I added a better hat for the worm which I think gives it more of a better look to indicate the worm being fearless of birds. I as well created a nuclear mushroom to add to the collection and show that something as small as a mushroom can have a big effect.
