Painting with light

Painting with light.

Creative direction.
Looking to attempt light graffiti to draw some great images with wire wool, floating candles, matches, sparklers and glow sticks.
To do this I will be spinning things around, zig zagging, scribbling, dropping, flashing, basically anything to create some amazing pictures.

Location- Anywhere pitch black, a dark room or somewhere outside with not much light. I need as less light exposure as possible so the camera only catches the light needed.

Concept development – So far just playing with ideas of using different equipment and lighting, and hoping to find the perfect thing/idea on my practices.
I developed my ideas by drawing random shapes and working out which shape was best. I decided to draw circles with all of my different lighting equipment as I felt those worked best.

Technical Considerations.
Lights – Sparklers, floating candles, matches, glow sticks, wire wool – all of which are very cheap.

Camera – Nikon D40

Action – took about 2 hours all in total. No need to set any lighting up as needed it as dark as I could get it. Took time to get all the equipment light as different weathers affected this.
