BANJARA
The word “Bohemian” or "Banjara" comes from the French word for “gypsy,” and it applies to those who live unconventional (usually artistic) lives.  Someone or something that has a Bohemian style typically evokes a picture of travelers, hippies, artists, gypsies, and other “free spirits.” Individuality is expressed, which means the style is as diverse as the individuals themselves.  They are inherently drawn to free expression, unconventional displays, and colorful collections,  I have tried to portray this in my collection by using colorful beads in the products.

PRODUCTS
The traditional Jawaja interlacing with leather strands and the beautiful combination of pop colors and intricate bead work gave the look to the products, I was expecting. There were no machines involved in any of the processes, including tanning and stitching which were all done manually by the artisans of Beawar and Jawaja.
