Nike SB "Pink Box" Series Chest
This project was a 3 day process of creating it. The pictures below explain each day and what I did to create this replication of the Nike SB Pink Series Box.
Day 1
The first thing I had to do was buy supplies. The type of wood I used was Sanded Plywood and Sanded Pinewood. I constructed the bottom rectangular portion of the box, which is 4 feet in length, 2 feet in width and 2 feet in height. Then I created the lid and assembled it to the bottom portion with hinges.
Day 2
Once I finished creating the actual box as a whole, I color matched the pink from the Nike SB Pink Series box. I painted a flat base coat of this pink throughout the entire box and let it dry one full day.
Day 3
Once the paint on the box had dried, I came back and and added a second coat of pink. Then I let it dry and went back over the small spots taht were missed with a smaller brush. I then began to tape down the Nike logo onto the box for painting.
This is the final result of the logo's painting after removing tape.
