I began the project by doing some visual research into what types of imagery I associate with the single "Hot Blood" by Kaleo. I tried to consider what types of sensory reactions do I have when listening to the song, and I wanted to be somewhat consistent with the branding they have put forward as a group, so I included many pictures produced by the group themselves.

I did some quick thumbnail sketching to get a feel for the form and content of the piece, and sketched out some custom typefaces

I edited and played around with a few stock photos of the American Southwest that I found, because that is the setting that their brand communicates strongly towards, and I
