This happy couple came to me for an entire wedding stationary for their Back to the Future themed wedding.  The request included save the dates, invites, RSVP's, and a post-wedding announcement for the friends and family that were not able to attend.  Their wedding was held on October 21st, 2015 and they loved the idea of working along with the movie's iconic style.

To begin, I  started braintstorming to get some ideas on how the flow of the stationary would go.  There wasn't too much creative brainstorming involved since the theme was already decided and pretty rigid.  

Below are the developed assets created.  I kept the color scheme dark with the vibrant gradient of the text.  I faded the bottom image into the background so the colors blended smoothly from the midnight blue of the image to the black top area.  I kept the design simple and clean to keep the message clear and legible.  I also went with a solid white sans serif to keep in line with the stockyness of the Back to the Future typeface.  

Keeping the featured film in mind, I created a black background with the wedding image slightly offset to the right.  There was no brainstorming on typefaces since the text is so specific, but I created a gradient fill in order to get that Back to the Future color.  The client was specific on wanting to add the words "The Power of Love" since it was the song that the couple walked down the aisle to.

After the beautiful day, the couple sent me an image to use in their post-wedding announcements.  After small editing and color correction, it was ready to be used.
