Print Place
Concept
Through a combination of pop art, Dada, and contemporary collage styles as well as a CMYK color scheme, this project encourages customers to utilize Print Place’s printing service.
Process
I began by drawing a mind map to determine the subject and style of my project. Next, I researched other advertisements to determine the appropriate structure, and then I wrote a script. I selected key phrases from the text to translate the written content into visuals, and afterward, I chose several pieces and movements to serve as inspiration for my animation. I recorded reference footage, captured images for a stop motion sequence, and gathered a wide variety of textures and patterns. I created a storyboard, designed style frames in Adobe Photoshop, and I animated the project using After Effects.
