After a five year (or so) hiatus, I'm happy to be back – especially with this particular illustration. These illustrations are part of an upcoming new series – Beginning with the re-draw of my infamous Janelle Monáe illustration from 2011. I'm revisiting illustrations that I used to love, but now want to revamp and rework to fall in love with all over again!.

And, I also highly recommend listening to the Metropolis: The Chase Suite by Janelle. The first time I saw the Metropolis album cover on Apple's "New Music" back in '08, I was drawn in and knew I had to listen to it. Fell in love immediately.
