Objective: The goal for this project was to create a unique and original magazine using personal imagery and writing. The project included the magazine's masthead design as well as the layouts for the cover, contents, and feature articles. In addition, a digital version of the magazine was created for tablet devices.
Concept: Heritage magazine is a culture and lifestyle publication specifically focused on the heritage of West Virginia. Exploring the area's rich history, natural beauty, and unique things to do serve as the key topics for the magazine. Heritage blends both a sophisticated and modern design to connect to the state's history as well as future endeavors to create a design that is relevant and meaningful. Heritage provides a rich resource for both tourists and locals of West Virginia alike to provide further insights into this diverse and beautiful region.
