The man who made pictures move
Eadweard J. Muybridge was an English photographer known by his experiments and studies in motion. In this project I studied his work and tried to use a different approach to get the art of movement. I used one of his studies, specifically the Woman in dress, climbing the staircase of the work The Human and Animal Locomotion. I captured the motion of the woman by using 2D animation, the rotoscope technique. I used Photoshop and a constant use of color contrasts to capture the movement of the woman and her dress.
