Laser cutting of Mirrored Acrylic. Joined by the method of interlocking
THIS MODEL WAS CREATED IN COLLABORATION WITH PARISHI JAIN
The model is inspired by geometric shape called great stellated dodecahedron which is geometrically made of a 20 faced icosahedron with triangular pyramids on the faces. But, it is an abstract take on the shape with unequal heights of pyramids, in the form of a twinkling star with the reflective property. The principle of asymmetrical balance is depicted here.
