Cottonwoods capture the afternoon light beautifully.
The lush foliage flank the cliff sides the entire way through the trail, making for a beautiful hike.
Much of the area has been subject to heavy erosion after a wildfire swept through the area, destorying much of the foliage that would otherwise stop flooding and subsequent erosion.
Despite the massive changes this area has undergone since the fire, it is still a wonderful hike with some amazing scenery.
