The biggest influence in my life and art have been the things passed down to me by my family. I was adopted and that experience has led me to be aware of the impact of family. The pins I photographed come from a large collection that has been added to with each generation of women. They span all different styles and aesthetics but all have the same purpose as cherished objects of beauty that were worn on all occasions.
