Christmas Crackers
A range of 20 different boxes of Christmas cracker were briefed from Woolworths South Africa. Together we came up with different themes and ideas for each box. Every cracker had its own original design. I was in constant contact with the buyer and would often email each design for approval before I began the mock-ups.
Some designs had up to three different printing techniques displayed. From silk screening on the glitter, hot foiling or doing litho production. Certain designs were sent to China and I had a chance to witness gravure printing. Packaging design and content photography were all done by myself and the set up for production. All the production was set up by myself as I was the only graphic designer employed.
The final products were received well and were sent out to every Woolworths in South Africa without complaint. This was our biggest client of the season and it was wonderful to see how smoothly everything came together.
