The purpose of this project was to create a short audio documentary on a historical event. My event was the Battle of Bannockburn, a battle for Scottish independence. I used Adobe Audition to make this project. The background music I chose to have a uplifting tone as this was a very good thing for the Scottish people. To actually make this a documentary I needed to tell the story. So I gathered audio clips from several documentaries I found on Youtube. I combined these clips in a order that tells the story of the battle. I balanced the audio level of these clips with the background music so you could hear them clearly. The end result a exciting documentary on the Battle of Bannockburn. I added a fade to the background music at the beginning to ease in the audio and a reverb at the end to create extra excitement.
