Not everyone has a stable nine to six job, handsome income and a socially happy life.
There are some people who work hard and still have a socially ill status for the work they do. Our movie Gavel to Gallows gives a glimpse of the difficulties such men and women face. How difficult it is for them to carry on their work though it might not be so pleasing to them. And how that person still needs to persevere in his/her time of hardships to live. Gavel to Gallows is video about the livelihoods of a terrorist whom everyone hates, a judge who is forced to sentence him to death and a hangman who performs the execution. It is a story that brings to light the internal conflicts raging inside each of them about what they do and how each of their decisions could drive the entire country into conflict. This is the story of their jobs which they strive to perform for a better livelihood.
This film was for a nationwide competition organised by Yes Bank Foundation. We had to create a short film in just 101 hours and upload it. the idea was to highlight the difficulties and depressing livelihoods of people around us. Our film was selected to go to the second round of screenings around the country.
