Enlighten is an after school program to enlighten middle and high school students about the risks and seriousness of teen pregnacy. Enlighten promotes supervised volunteering, group discussion, and team building to teach kids the importance of helping others and fill their after school experiences with fun and friendship without the peer pressure being placed on them about sex. 

 

I have created an app that is moderated by supervisors picked by the school or school districts. This app allows teens to keep track of the points they earn for each event they participate in, get adivce from their other members, and sign up for events to participate in. 

Points are accumulated at the end of each semester in order to see who as earned a spot on the Enlighten retreat.
