According to the co-design session, the participants are willing to involve into the green space, which means the chances for designing a natural environment accommodating different stakeholders. Secondly, a relaxing atmosphere in green plants makes people less anxious at the beginning of a communication. Besides, there would be lots of possibilities for designers, both on function and aesthetics.
Having the prospect of being an ideation generating farm, the space is divided into two functioning zones. One zone facing the hallway is the public place. Some tables with interactive screens are placed here. People can easily have a chat without having to put effort into booking a meeting room. These tables serve for informal quick meeting spots.
During the day, screens will illustrate what kind of topics are being discussed in the area. The area is totally open and surrounded by short plants such as bushes and trees. This means that when passers-by glance at the screens, they know what topics people around the tables are talking about. If they are interested in a topic, they are welcome to join immediately.
Though the green space is on the ground floor, there is still a connection to the first floor, since there is a gap which is right above the green space on the first floor. Therefore, people on the first floor are able to appreciate the indoor green space and keep a visual connection with the ground floor. This indicates interaction of different floors. In other words, each floor does not play its own function separately, but will be part of a bigger picture, keeping different stakeholders closely connected.
