The concept of this collection started in the beautiful island of Barbados. The island is found in the Caribbean Sea. It is filled with many colors and festivals, which became the main inspiration of this collection, which is named Island Splendor. The collection will be marketed to women and will be categorized under lingerie for the Spring and Summer Seasons. The main inspirations for the lingerie were the costumes worn by the women participating in the festivals and parades. The muse chosen for this collection was Naomi Campbell because she has the natural style of the target customer of Island Splendor.

Island Splendor is filled with some colors, primarily light and dark blues, light pinks and fuchsias, golds, and black. While the majority of the designs are formfitting, there are some designs that have a bit of a looser form. The fabrics used in Island Splendor are all soft, have elasticity, and are very comfortable. Some of the pieces include fabric that are sweeping, some that are embroidered with a special print, and even a special surface design that includes special jewels for enhancement. The special print is a peacock feather that has been embellished with a single diamond to add sparkle to the fabric and the whole print would be embroidered into the garment to really bring out the feeling of festival time in Barbados.
