For this project, we were to stylize and shoot food as a form of art. With my fine art background, I was inspired by scenes of the story of the Little Mermaid. All of the seafood was provided by the local Asian restaurant with props from Hobby Lobby's craft store. I used a wooden surface to put the stuff on and a key hot light at a 45 degree angle. Later in post I added the blue gel to represent a water/aquarium cast.
