COMANDO COLIBRÍ
Comando Colibrí is a feminist self-defence initiative based in Mexico City for women and other bodies in danger. Beyond self-defence training, Comando Colibrí aims to teach self-confidence, healing, and provide group support. The task was to create a visual identity that reflects these objectives. It should inspire strength, but also welcome diversity and celebrate love. Part of the challenge was to ensure that the women were not identifiable in images as some them were victimised for acting out in self-defence. There was also an emphasis to use fonts that were readily available.

This project was a collaboration and initiative between a group of female creatives at Spotify and the co-founder of Comando Colibrí, Darinka.
