Introduction
This project was to create the poster as a designer and illustrator to encourage the public to visit the ROM galleries. The main challenge was to select one or more objects from the exhibit for the use in the poster. So, we went to visit  the Royal Ontario Museum to see the exhibit and choose the objects.

Creative Process:
For coming up with my best work, I researched about the this artefact on the website of ROM. I got the correct picture of the artefact from there.
Work FLow:
I created the thumbnails for the approval of the poster. After getting approved, I begun the research on it online.

I created the actual size template using the adobe illustrator by following the steps posted on blackboard by Mr. Doug Darrah. This step was taken in order to work on the poster by dividing it in some parts using the golden rule.

Then, I created a palette guide of the colours which could be used in the poster. I was done in a triangular way.

The picture below was used as a reference to my drawing the ROM poster. I get it form google website.

The main part of the work begins from here. I drew a grid using the golden rule and the actual size template. Following the instructions of the professor, I started colouring using the pencil crayons. I used the colour palette guide for choosing the colours. As the work was to be done parts by parts, I choose on part of the grid and complete it first before going to the other part of the grid. The grid system was really helpful in drawing and colouring the poster.

ROM Poster without typography
Then for the typography, I used 6B pencil for shading the back of the actual size template to transfer the typography. After this, I used the black sharpie to fill in the name of the country and the logo of the Royal Ontario Museum. Below is the complete poster which was submitted to the professor.

CONclusion:
I spent 28 hours in this( including the hours spent at ROM). Sometimes, it was enjoyable and sometimes stressful. But overall, I learned a lot form this project and got 18 out of 20 for this project.
