This is the Salvation Army project that I did for them. I created a sign for a billboard, large kettle sign and a small kettle sign. I really enjoyed this project. I decided that since this was the final project, I wanted to challenge myself on this one as well. That’s where my idea for doing the ‘Hope, Help, and Happiness’ bit came from. I chose the photo because SA wanted the signs to be happy and up-lifting. I wanted to show more than one age group because SA helps children and families as well as adults. I stuck with the brand colors and used on of their fonts as well as the font Ubuntu that has repeatedly been very useful. The most challenging part of this project was getting the gradient to work. Overall, I really enjoyed this project. As soon as I chose one element of it, I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of it.
