Second chapter of my 'Taiwanese Schooling' series, a personal project shot in Taiwan. Last year I visited South Korea and got fascinated about Korean schools and elements like symmetries, colors, the alphabet, the sports... so when I had the opportunity to visit Taiwan I decided to visit schools in order to check for a possible continuity.
This series is shot in Taichung, and although the general aesthetics are pretty similar to the 'Korean Schooling' series, there are a few differences I found relevant: the national flag is not so much present as it was in South Korean schools. And the main sport to practice in the playgrounds in Taiwan is basketball, while in South Korea was football. Also, there are not as many clocks in Taiwanese schools. And of course, the trees are different, as the climate is as well a little bit.
