WHAT IS INNOVATION?
One of the most common ways to define innovation is renewing, changing, or creating more effective processes, products, or ways of doing things.
Design managers are uniquely prepared and positioned to deal with the many facets of innovation. Awareness of the dimensions of innovation advances our ability as design managers to manage the layers of complexity that are present in every innovation. Therefore, as a design manager, I have come to my concise definition of innovation and types of Innovation.
CASE STUDIES OF INNOVATION:
Innovations make very interesting case studies. Presenting an innovation case study helps distinguish innovation from “proclaimed” innovation in the real world. Studying different innovation case study helps me to
explain why an invention is an innovation, including criteria used for selection, supporting concepts, and the terms of the process of innovation associated with particular invention.

The goal is to understand the influence of culture on an innovation or invention . Through presenting two different case studies, I was able to highlight different aspects and dimensions of the innovation process, which helps us understand the complexities of diffusing new ideas. It helped me discover factors that contributed to the success or failure of the invention.
