Concept Presentation: 'Caelorum'
The design brief for Making Visual Media this week was to create an A2 concept presentation for a mixed media interactive artwork designed for public installation. Content and images were already provided. The design specifications were to use Adobe InDesign, with a 3mm bleed and 20mm margins and to create a strong visual hierarchy. We were also asked to create a logo for the concept 'Caelorum'. My logo reflects the shape of the birdseye view of the public installation.

Design decisions: The table was removed from early drafts as it wasn't a strong visual image, and the logo was too overpowering on its own - so it was reduced to fit within the 'O' of 'Caelorum'. The green of the leaves was used throughout to create unity within the poster. The image of the map was also removed as it wasn't a high enough PPI for print.
