PESIS PROJECT - Experimental Social Innovation Program.
DGCS and Yellow Window Design Consultants.
French focused project with the DGCS (Direction Générale de la Cohésion Sociale) based in 4 different regions. The objective of
this project is to present and promote social innovation practices to communities and its local representatives. This projects aims
to point out potential areas of challenge in which the social innovation can aid for the well being of the population. Service Design methods and tools play a vital role, as they are used in the Co-creation workshops and are proofed to be very accurate on presenting innovative concepts.
A series of workshops will take place on the different regions, a project developed with the participation of different public institutions and private consultants with an important background on social innovation, service design and design of public policies.

Each region identified its own social issues to tackle and call local citizens and companies for contributions, once their proposals were analyzed and selected by a steering committee; the actors were called to participate in co- creation workshops..
The subjects selected by region were: (Selected by four steering committees)
Limousin: To facilitate mobility and social activities for the population of Saint- Yriex to reduce the isolation phenomena caused by the geographical location and poor government transport infrastructure.
PACA: To develop projects focused on sustainable development for the Marseille / Aix and Provence population that could be a solution to housing, employment and saving energy resources.
BRETAGNE: To develop a program to ease the inequalities between genders, fostering female empowerment.
