After experimenting with sketching a native flower bouquet and tracing it into illustrator to learn brush effects, I thought I would play around some more and create the bouquet entirely in Illustrator. 

 

I thought I would start with the beautiful Banksia Ashbyi. I then decided to create a collection of them.

I plan to do the same with more native flowers before creating the bouquet.....oh the things I could do if I bought a computer I could draw on with a pen!
