ChocRaw Vegan Chocolate Cups

ChocRaw believes in 100% transparency when it comes to their products. They keep it healthy, simple and clean. Stripping everything back, using only natural ingredients innovatively. They currently stock almond drinks, food boosters and snack bars.
The vegan chocolate cup range will be the newest edition to the ChocRaw range. I was tasked to create visual concept designs for the packaging before the cups went into production. The vegan chocolate cups come in three flavours, (1) Salted caramel, (2) Peanut butter (3) Hazelnut butter.
From the start, I wanted to visually showcase the flavours look and feel on the packaging. Therefore, after sourcing images of the three flavours, I began to create illustrations, which imitated the aesthetic of each flavour. The characteristics and colour of each flavour would play a role in how the packaging would identify with the customer.
The design is broken into three levels. The top level has the illustrated texture of the flavour, and so the top of each bar is different with the ChocRaw logo overlaid on top. The middle texture has a bold coloured band, which labels the product, and the third level has an illustration of the chocolate cups accompanied by a drawing of the ingredient.
All the visual elements take on a raw graphic style and have all been drawn, rather than using photos, therefore giving the products their own unique look and help them stand out from other products on the shelf. ChocRaw is a result of passion and the pursuit for innovative and honest products for the mass market. The design of the packaging for the vegan chocolate cups range essentially follows this ethos.
