The Lion and the Whale Shark
This painting was created for my new Nephew Leo.

The theme of this diptych is empathy.

It’s about perception and learning to see more than what is in front of us.

Though we live in different circumstances, we are connected to one another through sharing one home.

Looking from one frame to the next, the viewer is able to make connections between the two animals, to can gain insight into the different perspectives and understand the story as a whole.
