The “Tranquility Pavilion” focuses on repose, clarity, tranquility,
peace and rest. Due to the site being on the beach I wanted to bring
the tranquility that is natural to the ocean into my chapel. To do this
I went against the stereotype of an enclosed chapel and designed
my chapel to be completely open to nature. Also the minimalistic
design of my chapel makes for more clarity.
