My submission to the Electrolux Design Lab 2012 student competition. The brief was to create a product that improved the experience of cooking and eating food by involving senses other than simply taste. The product was also required to align to the brand identity of Electrolux and the principals of Scandinavian design.
The ‘Touch Mixer’ is a multi-purpose food processor and mixer controlled by the users touch. The simplicity of the controls encourage novice cooks to try it. Meanwhile more experienced chefs will appreciate the accurate and responsive touch sensors.
