Light My Way

A study of subway lighting and atmospherics. This was my first exploration into night photography. The images are intended to conjure a feeling of uneasiness. The paradoxical aesthetic was perhaps the most interesting thing for me during its creation: the filthy, unpleasant areas are made to look beautiful, partly because the photographic event itself suggests that what each image contains is something to be observed and admired.
