Redesign the website for Adams County Iowa | http://www.adamscountyia.com
Design all screens for a laptop platform, and at least two different screens for a mobile platform as well.
Scenarios:
Include a landing page and the ability for a county resident to:
-find out where their voting precinct is located.
-find out the hours and place to take the written drivers test
-find a photo history of the county

I actually really enjoyed doing this project. At first I thought I would not enjoy it as much because looking at the initial website seems very overwhelming because it is so badly designed. However, as I worked through it’s problems, redesigning it was actually really fun.
I tried to incorporate typography hierarchy by showing headers through boxes of color, larger sizes, and coloring the text itself. The body text is smaller than the headers and more condensed. Based on what the information was, I either centered it or left aligned it.
To create visual interest, I also added icons throughout the website illustrating the associated paragraph. I also tried to break up blocks of texts with lines and with blocks of color. I also wanted to incorporate the same blue tones throughout the website to create unity.
