Having a plan makes my creative process so much easier . When I know what my end goal should be, things are just falling into place. But of course there are many days when I start an illustration and don’t really see what the end result might look like . 

 

I found that writing down every thought, feeling and chatter in my mind early in the morning helps a lot in overcoming this issue. There is a great book called “The Artis’s Way” by Julia Cameron and I highly recommend it for everyone looking to improve their work.

 

This illustration is inspired by Azzi And Osta ‘s gorgeous gown. Copic markers were used for skin tone and base color for the dress and added the shadows and highlights using color pencils.
