Custom Jewelry and Engraving Business in Rapid City, SD
For this project, I was asked to create the new visual design for a local jeweler. His business creates both custom hand made jewelry pieces and they will be offering premade jewelry pieces such as medallions to be customized with special engravings online. Beginning with the logo, I worked closely with the master jeweler to implement a young and fun feel that would also work well with an older audience. We developed the lily component of the logo based off of the jeweler's personal sketches and settled for a sub mark featuring the business initials of JJL in a diamond shape, that when scaled down far enough, appears to give off a warm feeling of yellow flowers and growth. The overall design and branding materials have been created to make my client stand out among competitors in the local market and tentatively abroad.
