TIME IN DIGITAL AGE
During last summer which I had spent in Czech republic, I was effected by the theme of a free time. In modern society, one of the main problem remains to be the extreme usage of electronic devices, for example laptops, tablets and mobile phones. Because of this, people are losing a lot of their free time without even realising it. In a response to the identified problem I had created a series of posters which would encourage people to think about their time more wisely and to which would make them realise how much time they are spending on a digital platform.
In this example I had use the symbolism of the binary numeral system to display use of technology, the sand, which symbolise the flow of time. To make the poster a successful piece of communication, I showed what are people losing while they are using their social media or electronic devices in general. To envision this I had showed a family playing together. I think that it is a very important piece of life to encourage young people to create a balance within their life, concretely in their social media usage and the Face-to-face interaction. Because of that I had also decided to dedicate my Minor project to this problem.
