DC Fan Art Illustrations
The goal of this personal project was to combine the insignia of two DC characters and then incorporate this "combined logo" into a poster with the same two characters. I chose a flat graphic style with bold colors to compliment the insignia and reinforce the iconic nature of the characters.
I appreciate how comic artists simplify and exaggerate the most visually compelling aspects of a character. As a result, many DC superheroes have become so familiar to us that their silhouettes alone are almost as iconic as their insignias.
