For a typography final I had to do a short kinetic type piece of at least 8 seconds. I love the UK band The Wombats and saw it as a great opportunity to try my hand at making a lyric video. This was my first time using After Effects and it was quite challenging, but a lot of fun! Thanks to Google and YouTube I was able to learn the basic skills I needed to make this over a few days.
