Unfortunate Accidents

- UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENTS -
The so called misfortune could be seen as a concept, conceived by people as a reason to justify misbehaving. Consequences of that are usually inevitable. Thus, by starting to analyse 'odd', 'strange', 'unlucky' accidents of one's life, you could inspect that they may seem not that accidental anymore.
Unfortunate Accidents is a self-published zine, printed by combining riso and inkjet printing methods. It is accompanied by a metal sculpture, an 'unfortunate' homage to Giacometti's "Walking Man". The project comes with riso printed posters, which were each customised with felt tip pens.
All of the drawings were drawn using pencil and ink, placing an emphasis on raw, acidic colours.
Some of the drawings were fully printed on risograph instead of the combination with inkjet printing.
During the experiment phase, one copy was 'unfortunately' printed on tracing paper. The outcome was unexpectedly supporting the main idea, even though it was hard to read the images.
The sculpture was made by welding separate small rods of steel together. The process was supported by soldering.
