The Evelyn Button Down Skirt is made of lots and lots of tiny stitches in wool fingering weight yarn. There are a ton of details featured in this dress, such as colorblocking, reinforced button placket, waistband, drawstring pockets. 

Embroidery is hand stitched along outer button placket using the same wool yarn as the skirt. buttons are handsewn on. 

Pockets are crocheted and handsewn on and feature twisted cotton crochet thread drawstrings. 

Seaming, waistband, and buttonholes are given careful attention to create a tidy, professional finish. 

Buttonhole placket is reinforced with grosgrain ribbon. Buttonholes on ribbon are machine-made and ribbon is handsewn onto placket.
