Alternative Alamat: Stories Inspired by Philippine Mythology is a compilation of 13 Philippine folktales written by contemporary fantasy Filipino authors. These Philippine folktales are collected and edited by Paolo Chikiamco. Alternative Alamat features gathered stories of Philippine Mythology that were innovated and transformed into modernity. The stories are not straight retold from old tales.
