Archmage of the Arcan'dor

A few years ago, I made an art nouveau styled Warcraft fanart of my Pandaren Monk. I love art nouveau, and it works well with my illustrative style. As a part of the last expansion Blizzard released a new "allied race" called the Nightborne that have become my absolute favourite race in game (though I am one of the millions of players that really salty they weren't a neutral race, not that I hate Horde but it didn't make canon sense)

I actually started work on my rogue (which is my main), but I found this reference image by charligal-stock on Pinterest that would be perfect for my other Nightborne, a Mage. Obviously the pose is very different, but thought i'd still give credit.

I'm very happy with this piece, its allowed me so much creativity in a style I love, and its helped me hone my painterly skills even if it does have linework. Plus I'm happy to have finished a piece so early in the year (though I had original hoped for a January completion to get a piece up a month). My rogue piece is about 30% finished so you will see that in the coming weeks, then who knows I may decide to do all my other Warcraft avatars!
Progress gif, I originally was not planning on doing a full art nouveau background (it was only flat colours at that to begin with, ha!), only a spattered colour, red for my mage = horde, and blue for rogue = alliance, cause yeah I still there :p)
